Today, Apolownia is pleased to announce that we have joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative - a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible business practices.
With this announcement, Apolownia is proud to join thousands of other companies worldwide committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.
The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and to take actions that advance societal goals as embodied in the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with over 20,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in more than 160 countries and more than 62 local networks.
“In line with our commitment to these principles, Apolownia is proud to contribute to global climate action by developing high-impact nature-based solutions that aligh with the UN Sustainable Development Goals” noted Raphaël Der Agopian, co-founder.
As a participant in the initiative, we encourage you to visit the United Nations Global Compact website to learn more about the Ten Principles.
