Position overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced agronomist or marine biologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in blue carbon and wetland restoration and conservation (WRC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our research and innovation (R&I) department. You will also work in support of the Project Development team.
Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis, including data collection, fieldwork and laboratory experiments.

Develop and implement sustainable farming practices or marine conservation strategies.

Provide technical expertise and support to the team internally, as well as to our local partners (feasibility, implementation and monitoring phases).

Contribute to the development of a dedicated research and innovation (R&I) department.

Collaborate and support project development teams working on nature-based projects.

Stay informed about the latest developments, trends and best practices in the sector.

Communicate research findings and recommendations through reports, publications or webinars.

Ensure compliance with relevant methodologies and standards.
Your profile

Master's degree in agronomy, marine biology, oceanography or environmental science.

5 to 10 years experience with proven track record, preferably in blue carbon and WRC.

A good understanding of climate change, decarbonization strategies, and the Voluntary Carbon Market.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Fluent in French and English. Proficiency in Spanish would be a plus.
